Cheaper alternative to DR Hi Beams?

Hi guys,

I usually play Hi Beams or Fat Beams- I am a UK player and since sterling has taken a beating DR strings are real expensive to buy from Europe or the States (always cheaper than UK but now not so)
I need some new sets but was wondering if anyone had experience with strings slightly cheaper but which compared favourably to the DR 'Beams'
I know you get what you pay for- thats why I have used DR for about 6 years now.
I change strings about every 3-4 weeks (used to be more) as I play regularly but sometimes resort to boiling if string stocks are getting low!

Any help appreciated.

Idk, these SIT Power Steels, while i shouldnt have them, still sound pretty great and are cheap.
