I bought 23 sets of EB Regular slinkys for under $200 recently on eBay.

Why buy inferior strings when you can buy EB's on eBay for around $10 a set?

True. If you cant find these kinds of deals for EB strings on ebay, I'd suggest Snarling Dogs. I was looking for a cheap sub for EB strings myself a few years back and found them to be nearly identical in sound and feel.

I thought EB strings *were* the cheaper alternative string....

I like them, but i consider them priced pretty well. $25 or so for a 5 string set? Sweet.

Just strings seem to be selling snarling dogs for $11. I'll get a few and see how they are.
