Cheapest source for Elixirs?

Sign in to disble this ad
I need a few sets of Elixirs (45-105) and I'm wondering if anyone has found a supplier with the best pricing. Music123 was running a 15% off deal alst week, but I missed the boat, otherwise the price would have came to about $32.99 per set if I had bought 5 sets. Anyone else come close to that pricing?

juststrings.com is where i used to get them from. they also sell singles so you ca buy a 4 string set, and then an extra e and a so when they die and the d and g still sound awesome, you don't have to spend full price!

I get my Elixirs there as well. I've found with Elixirs they don't all go dead at once for me. (I play a 5 er and uses the E and A strings most.) That way I can replace them more often than say the G (which I don't use as much). It takes the sting out of a full-set price.

Yes, I've ordered from juststrings.com in the past and was satisified with their service, but I wouldn't say they offer the best pricing. That's the going rate for these strings.

I just bought some Elixirs a month ago from http://www.stringsandbeyond.com.
$35.95 for a set of medium long (.045 - .105) plus $9.95 for a single B (.130).
Free shipping.

I think that last time I bought strings, I ordered from juststrings.com, but stringsandbeyond was less expensive this time. I didn't notice if they have any quantity discounts. I just ordered one set.

+1

Strings and Beyond is the best experience I have ever had with buying strings online. Doesn't hurt that there based out of NC like me!
