Hey, I'm playing a Fender J and I want to get that real nice jazzy tone, you know what I'm talking about jazz bassists. I usually put Boomers on, but I want to know what would be better.

Thanks, Kyle.

I like D'Addario Slowounds, but if you want some really good lighter strings, try Thomastik Infeld Power Bass. I have a set on one of my RB5s, and they really get a good growly tone. They're slightly slinky, so a light touch is appropriate. Available at The Bass Place in Tempe, Arizona.

DR Lowriders are some of my favorites, I have them on my 66 Jazz. I've also started using Sadowsky strings on my...Sadowsky.
