Hello all,
Please help me to find the best of Flatwound:
I bought a Fender Jaco Pastorius Fretless for its very warm sounding, vintage style. I am very satistied with the instrument itself and its soudning. But I found the original Fender Strings (Flatwound 9050M 55 70 90 105) too hard (non flexible at all !). Also I was looking for brighter tone to let harmonics very present. Then I have tried Ernie Ball Group II (50 70 85 105) which are extra flexible compared to the Fenders. But I lost a lot the mellow sound of the Fender. I really need the BIG sound of the E and A strings with a great flexibility of all strings, with very clear tone for the highest notes.
What would you suggest to me as Flatwound ?
Labella 760FM ?
Chromes ?
GHS Brite ?
GHS Precision ?Rotosound ?
Sadowsky ?
Others ???...
Thank you So much for your help.
