chromes 45-100 vs 50-105?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi everyone, I cant seem to find chromes in 50-105, I currently use rotosound 50-110 heavys but the tension is just too much, I would like to go down a bump,..

im looking or tension like regular rotosound 45-105 stainless rounds.

what chromes set will put me there? the 45-100 or 50-105?

thanks!

Hows the tension of the 45-100 chrome vs say the stock 7250 45-100 nickel rounds that come stock on alot of fenders?
I always thought a 100. E would be floppy coming from strictly 105s and bigger, but i was pleasenly surpized with the tension on the stock fender nickel round set.

the chromes should be alot tighter then the stock 45-100 rounds right?

Go for the 50-105. That 50 G string makes a big difference in tone (fatness) over the 45. You will get used to the tension.
