Anyone out there have any experience using Chromes and the bassmods preamp. ? When using the EBQ12-35MSAP preamp when you increase the gain it amps up the mids and highs a bit. My theory is if flats are used this should compensate for that and produce more of a true balanced tone. I currently have Ernie Ball 2836 regular slinky's 5 strings on the Squier Deluxe Active V. Grat sounding bass. I will find and purchase a white one
to be my show gigging axe.
