Chromes gauge and tension
I have the 45 - 100 set. My finger style plucking hand seems to maybe want to go a step up in gauge. What says you? What gauge for some serious finger style plucking?

Some of us go lighter gauge.
I started with the ECB 82s. Now use 80s if I use Chromes. Don't miss the heavy gauge, mainly in my left hand

+1 on the lite scale chromes. I just can play longer sets. No fatigue.

I used to really dig the 45-60-80-105 set I put together on bassstringsonline, high tension but well balanced and not overkill, but as my playing style has changed I came to prefer a 40-100 set and now I'd probably go even lighter.

D'Addario or Labella Tapes?

I couldn't deal with the .105 Chromes in standard tuning. The .100 is nice and tight but I'd like to try an even lighter gauge.
