i put flats on my Ray34 the other day and wow.. it sounds friggin' awesome!!!! played "truckin'" by the grateful dead with the treble cut all they way, bass and mids boosted, and played up more towards the neck and wow what a nice fat tone i got out of it that i didnt think i could achieve with this bass. thank you Flatwounds
