Chromes on a VM Jazz - Sound clips

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys,

I've had a set of Chromes on my VM Jazz Bass for the last 2 months or so. This is my first foray into flats and so far I've been digging the sound.

Here is a clip of 3 different tone settings recorded straight into GarageBand. My USB interface isn't amazing, so the sound is a tad weak without any effects, but I wanted to keep it unfiltered for demo purposes.

Chromes on Squier VM Jazz Bass - YouTube

The settings are:

Take 1: Both Pickups Full, Full Tone
Take 2: Neck Soloed, Tone halfway
Take 3: Bridge Soloed, Full Tone

(and yeah, my timing is a bit off in parts )

The sound of the bass is absolutely amazing and seems that chrome keeps the bass Shine.
