Cirr-e-us String Question

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm looking to put some half-rounds/ground-rounds on my Cirrus 5. Any Cirrus owners done this? If so, how did you like? And which ones did you use? Or to put it another way, which manufacturers make half-rounds long enough to fit the Cirrus?

All my other basses have either half-rounds or flats on them and I really like all of these..sorta fallen out of love with roundwounds.

Went Ahead

Just ordered a set of Ken Smith Slickrounds for the Cirrus - 38" winding, so they should fit.

I have a set of these on my L2500 and really like them a lot - it'll be interesting to see how they sound on the Cirrus.

check out the D'Addario half rounds, I put some on a Zon 519 which has a 35" scale. They were listed as extra long.
