Cleaning coated strings

Hi I got Black Beauties on my Ray. They are excellent. I got a question can I clean them with Ernie Ball String Cleaner??? I dont know how coating reacts with String Cleaner. I believe Cleaner has some alcohole in ingedients, is coating tollerant with that???

it'll make it like unslippery for a short time.. i boiled my black beauties once, and they still retained the black coating and revived the brightness. and this was all before K3 coating was out.

now i'm using a DR Neon set. so far no wear yet
