Cleartones really do suck.

I am a big coated string user, I love Elixers but I dont like it when the coating starts to fray.

I heard of these Cleartones and decided to give them a try.

They sounded great for the first day, the next day they were a bit less bright as should be expected.

The following day the strings were incredibly dirty and dull.

The space between the windings were all filled with dirt and crap, mind you this is only have about 2 days of actual use.

I would not recommend these ghastly strings if you want a bright tone, these strings died faster than any other string I have ever used including GHS and Ernie Ball.

What a waste of $35.
