After the release of the new guitar hero game, tons of Metallica bass tracks became available. This guy posts lots of them, including some from Kill 'Em All! Take a quick listen and it becomes clear that Cliff recorded Kill 'Em All with flats! Who knew? |

I'm a Cliff fan, but not so much that I've researched what he used and when.... I'm assuming he recorded Kill 'em All with a Rickenbacker? Rick+flats is a killer combo!

I think he mainly used the aria's after kill em all?
I liked the work on kill em all, on some songs its the defining work of the drums and bass with the guitars alot more laid back,... very different to and just for all style!!!

They had the bass mixed way out since they were still in the hazing process. Live tho i do agree. As for Cliff using flats, who woulda thunked it?
Edit: already beaten to it
