cliff's strings

OK, I'm by no means one of those bassists that sits around and emulates Cliff Burton, but a thought crossed my mind today............he's a super-popular bassist, but nobody can tell me what kind of strings he used! anybody know?

Being that he idolized Geddy Lee I would assume he used RS66's, light gauge. I recall Toolbassplayer on youtube (Walbassplayer here) noting on his For Whom the Bell Tolls video that the way in which Cliff bends his strings in some live videos cannot be done easily without low tension, light gauge strings and I agree.
