Compare TI Jazz Flats to D'addario Chromes.

Sign in to disble this ad
Is there anyone here with experience with both of these strings that can give an accurate and informative comparison of them?
I love the TI's but never tried the Chromes (saw some in an open package and thought they looked nice and became interested).
I know that the Chromes have more tension and they're Stainless Steel whereas the TI's are Nickel.
Are the Chromes bright or dark, sticky or slick, etc. (compared to the TI Flats)?
Do the Chromes last as long as the TI Flats?
Any comparative info you can give will be appreciated.
Thanks..

Thanks for the reply, I guess I should've done a search.
I think I better stay with the TI's.

I have a set of DA chromes coming from a buddy of mine. I also have a set of TI flats ready to go onto my P-bass. I suppose it would be easy enough to have the TI flats take a short detour through the MIM J fretless before they find a permanent home on the P. I want to do the same with the DA Chromes.

If I can get some decent MP3 recordings, I'll post them on my site.
