I spent a while trying to get the tone I wanted with my slinkys that came factory on my Stingray. Took me about a week to be pretty satisfied with it after I broke myself of my "smiley face EQ" syndrome. I switched to EB Group II Flats. I had to fight with my EQ to get what I wanted.
