curt mangan strings?

Just purchased a set for the Fender deluxe active jazz bass at our church. Bought at pawn shop for less than $200, needs new strings and many adjustments. Have not yet put them on, but salesman raved about them. Has anyone had experience with these?

I just put on a set on a 5 string
Jazz Bass. they really woke the bass up.
very bright and very clear. I really like how the b string sounds
past the 12th fret.
I think they have a very unique sound.
I think you're going to like them a lot.

I have a 2-year-old set of nickel rounds on my J bass. I like them more than any other rounds I've used.

Put them on early this week. Played bass at Friday night prayer meeting, they sounded great(75 watt 15" bass amp) Pastor played it, sounded very bright, great for slapping and popping!! Played today at service and they sounded even better(6000 watt sound system) Will absolutely be trying these on one or both of my personal basses. Thanks to the salesman who recommended them!!!
