My Birdsong Cortobass came stock with the Curt Mangans, and since my band is heading into the studio this month I just put a fresh set on... I love them too. I have not used them on any of my other basses, and have had nothing else on my Birdsong. But i figure, it is all good, it ain't broke, so i ain't gonna screw with it! I love the sound of my bass and am gonna keep it that way.

I'm a big Mangan fan. Their flats are really nice and last a long time. The only other strings I've used that compare to Mangan's are DR's, and they usually cost more.

Very good on the fingers, I wonder what string has a brighter tone. I mean, Rotosound def. is bright, but they hurt my fingers, and the effects only last a few weeks.
