D'Addario Bass String Stations?

Sign in to disble this ad
I just read about them in the new Bass Player Magazine, and I think it's a pretty cool idea.

Apparently, from the description, these Bass Stations are:
Quote:
store displays designed to make it easier to pick from a range of single strings that can then be added to a 4-String set in order to create custom 5/6 string sets.
I think it's a great idea, especially if you could build your own set from scratch. I would hope that they'll have all the options of Flats/Rounds/Halfrounds and SS/Nickel, but that might be somewhat of a longshot. The store display would be huge.

So, has anyone seen one of these yet?
