Rebops have a top-load bridge.

Mark your current strings (pick one) at the top of the nut.
Take the string off and measure the length from the ball end to the mark you made.
If the mark is 34" to 36" = you need "Long."
If the mark is 36" to 38" = you need "Super Long."

Problem may be fitting the E string in the bridge. Depending on the gauge you pick you may need to trim the silk.

Precision flats are available with a 38" winding ball to silk. Not sure if that bass accepts standard strings in the pegs, if so, then yes!

Standard "long scale" Chromes will not fit a 35" scale bass. You'll need the "extra long" length.

GHS Precision flats (as mentioned above) will fit both 34" and 35" basses.

Chromes tolerances are extremely tight, so if it says 34" or 35" scale, they mean it.

I just tried to put the long scale chromes on a string-through 34" bass, and couldn't string them through the body -- the silk went down nearly to the first fret. Anchored in the bridge, the silk went about 1/4" past the nut (a nice but tight fit).

So, I don't think long scale chromes would work on a 35" scale bass.

What is the best way to trim the silk? I had a problem getting the E string through the bridge of one of my basses because of the silk. I wasnt sure of the best way to "trim" it, so I burnt it with a Bic lighter. Probably not the best way to go about it, though it hasnt caused any issue to the string itself.

You can take a razor blade and cut away at it. Really once you cut one thread, you can unwind it.

Personally I would not introduce any heat to the string, but if it works I am sure it will hold up just fine.
