D'Addario EXL280 XL + 1 More for 5 String Set

Hi all,

I'm seriously thinking of string my Ibanez EX 5 string up as a piccolo bass for jazz.

I was looking at the above strings and I wanted to hear from others who have used this set along with another string to make a 5 string set with a B.

Another poster said a 'D' string .60 - .70 would work well for the low B.

I can't find a 5 string piccolo set, so I thought of something else.

Can I get some experiences to see if this will work for me? How is the tension on the strings? Stuff like that.

I'm not too worried about the impact it'll have on my bass as I have an adjustable nut that I can raise to account for the smaller string gauge.
