D'Addario EXP strings?

hey guys,

i was looking at these strings: http://juststrings.com/dad-exp170-5.html

i was wondering if the coating is as good as the DR coated strings.
I have a set of these the EXP acoustic strings on my acoustic bass which i have had for 4 months and the coating is just started wear off. so im thinking they may be good but i play my electric more than my acoustic so i want to know if they will last as long.

i just found a thread about these strings...they were mixed opinions. i like my acoustic set so i may buy some.

mods you can delete this if you wish
