D'addario flatwound tension

Are D'addario Chromes higher or lower in tension than Dean Markley flats?

I havent used Dean Markley flats, but my D'Addario chromes are IMO a perfect tension. Not too tight, not too loose. Slightly higher tension than the stock flatwounds that came on my bass.

I have recently had both sets on my bass(ric4003) side by side..both 45-100 gauge. The Dean Markley's seem to have a little less tension but not a big difference..the DM's are dark and thuddy sounding and almost identical to the ghs flats. The D'Addario are i bit more bright sounding and ring out longer..i like the D'Addario's better
