Hi guys !

I just stringed my Dearmond 35" scale with D'Addario Cromes.
E string goes to thiner wound just before my nut. Other strings are fine. Sound is ok but dont know will string brake sooner ?
Is that case whit all cromes or only in my package ?

Thanks !

D'Addario offers Super Long scale strings for 35" scale basses. Your's are for the 34" scale.

Hmm, I had the same problem when I put the chromes on my American precision. I tried to string them through the body and taper on the E string started about halfway beteen the first fret and the nut. What scale is a precision?

34 but if you go thru-body, you need the superlongs. Probably the biggest complaint I see against D"Addario is that they are unclear about what strings are appropriate.
