D'addario string set questions

I had a set of A'addario strings on my BTB and when I thought I replaced the same set, they were different. The set that broke, were VERY slick. The Half-rounds I replaced them with, were not.

Did I have Chromes?

What color is the thread on the different sets? I'm mainly concerned about the Half-rounds and the Chromes.

Excellent. That's what color the old set I have is. I should have asked you guys last year when I was spamming a A'addario rep. Needless to say, he was NOT helpful.
