Hi, I'm thinking of getting some D'Addario Super Long Scale Bass strings for my 6 stringer, however I'm not sure if they will fit my 35" scale bass with String Thru body. It says on their website Super Long Scale is between 36"-38" for their strings, but it's a bit vague (they list their Long Scale as being between 34"-36", if that's not vague I don't know what is! )

Their scale lengths are figured by measuring from the Ball End to the string just past the nut...
So if you measure from your Ball End to just past your nut and it is within 36" - 38" , then your instrument requires Super Long scale D'Addario's
If you measure from Ball End to just past your nut, and it is within 34" - 36" , then your instrument requires Long Scale D'Addario's...
The majority of string companies will figure the scale length differently. Some company's Long Scales will cover an instrument that will accept a winding length of up to 38" for their long scale!
