D'Addario tapered B, taper length

Argggh!!!

I'm getting disgusted trying to find a tapered B that works with my string thru Fender Jazz V.

I bought D'Addario long scale and the taper at the bridge worked but the tuner end taper extended over the nut onto the fretboard. Got some super long scale but the bridge end taper was over 1/2" shorter than the long scale and the taper didn't even make it to the bridge saddle.

Just looking for suggestions. Not an entire set just the tapered B string that I could get as a single.

There is no compromise in tone or performance threading through the bridge with your B.

SITs have extraordinarily long tapers on their bare cores - perhaps they have the same length taper on other flavors.

I think that DR 'long necks' have a long tapered section for through body stringing, hence the name.
