| I don't have any experience with EB flats, but my SX P-bass has a set of .105 Chromes on it. If you've played different sets of flats before, you'll notice that the Chromes sound pretty bright for flats right out of the pack. But give it a couple of weeks, and they'll mellow out just fine. My Chromes really hit in the midrange, but also have a big, solid bottom and a small hint of zing on the high end if I crank the tone knob. I suggest the Chromes if you're going flatwound.
