D'Addario XL Nickels don't fit!

They aren't long enough strung-thru the body in my Lakland Joe Osborne! The string winding goes before the nut, on the 1st fret
Terrible!!! I was looking forward to it and now I had to put the E and B thru the bridge....

I'm so mad. I COULD strung the rest of the strings thru the bridge too, but I don't want to.

Do "extra-long" D'Addario XL Nickels exist? Cause this is just "Long Scale".

I think they do make a bit longer sets. Check their website.

The difference is not that noticeable anyways.

Long scale is suposed to fit 34" basses. But maybe since it's strung through the body...

Yes.
They are labeled "SL" (SL= Super Long i.e. EXL170SL).

I use these on my Lakland 55 (35" scale) although I do not string through the body (an overblown concept IMHO ). I don't know if they would be long enough for 35" scale and through body stringing.
