D'Addatio Chromes on Ibanez ATK 305

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm thinking about putting a set of D'Addario Chromes on my Ibanez ATK 305.
My only concern is about the string-through-body mounting: i'm afraid that the B and E stringswill break because of the 90 degrees angle that the string is forced to stay between the ball and and the bridge saddle (see the "scheme" below):

Has anyone ever mounted this type of string in this way? Is this doable? Or am i forced to mount with the top-load system?
Sound-wise, do you think it will be a problem mounting some string through the body and B and E with top-load?

Thanks in advance for any suggestion
