if you will do a search you will see that I recommended about Dean Markley Strings more then once.
I never said anything about buying a whole set and thinking it was a total waste of Money (like a lot of people do for other Brands and also Dean Markley) because of their sound, life etc. .
the topic was Bad customer support...and although I got 2 strings they are Stainless steel and not Nickel steel (I specified exactly what I bought in the email) and it was kind of weird that I got just the box with no letter or anything.
I didn't mind sending the string to them so they will see what the problem was and wont think I'm trying to scam them or anything (and the most Important - when other customers will have this kind of problem the will help them).
I prefer American Products and buying from American online shops because they invented the customer support and quality control, so they still give the best service and they still make the best products.
I bought my 2 Basses (Pedulla Pentabuzz and Fender 50th Anniversary Jazz Bass) from American Music shops with the money I've worked for here in Israel and did it happily with total confidence in the transactions.
(I love Trace Elliot and Rotosound and got great customer support from them as well).
but after this I'm gonna think twice before buying their strings.
Why ? because unlike American residents it's a problem for me to pick up the phone and just talk to them (maybe if I gave them a call all of this story would sound totally different).
my only choice for communication is emails which worked out great with other American companies (or other Online shops).
BTW I replaced the G string to the Dean Markley Stainless Steel and it doesn't sound dead in the same spot or anywhere on the fretboard (haven't changed anything in the setup).
