My local Guitar Center (Charleston, SC) is running a special on four strings sets of Dean Markley Blue Steel bass strings. (2) sets for $29.99. I'm not sure if that is available at all the locations but that is a very good deal. They are actually selling them below cost!!
Yeah DM is rather good, a few days ago I bought a new set of Roto sound. I wasn't succesful . So I chose DM instead of them, well not very easy to slide because it steel, but in all I suggest you to buy them.
