umm....Ive never heard of such shenanigens....coloring something metal with a crayon. i dont think itll hold really. and if it did it would be so waxy and greasy, or maybe sticky...try it on an old string mate

Colouring them with a crayon will dull the sound some. Is that what you want for metal?

I'd think with a name like Skullbusters they must be a perfect sound for metal and you don't want to mess with perfection.

Why not paint your face red if it's the look you're after?

No, it isn't. There have been a few even weirder. There was one on the Luthers forum a while back about using human blood for a red stain on a bass body that got pretty weird.

No, for the rest of the forum it'd be great, and one of the single biggest group laughs in the history of the internet.

From looking at his profile I'd be more interested to know if he's ever played through a real amp before.

I used to swear by Skullbusters, but honestly, go buy some lo/hi-riders or fat beams.... they sound much better.

Don't color your strings red...
1. You will make a mess
2. Kill your tone
3. You will look like a poser/jackass (Unless you're playing nu-metal, but still)
