Dean strings for vintage mustang

Sign in to disble this ad
Quick question if anyone happens to have used a similar setup..

my band was recently endorsed by dean, and I'm wondering what string is optimal for my sound.

We're rock/pop with a lot of groove..
currently playing a 73 mustang stock through a sansBDDI+svt350

I'm reading through the catalog,
and I honestly don't know what nickel/SS affects sonically..

Also wondering if using a ML gauge is best for the short scale

Since you have an endorsement deal, may I suggest you try all of their bass strings?

Maybe that wasn't necessary info..

Just hoping to narrow down a few sets/gauges to try before we skip town
