Deep Talking Flats

I currently have my p bass strung with Chromes .050 - .105. I'm interested in trying out some la bella flats after seeing such positive talk about them here on TB. I was wondering what size strings to buy based on tension/stiffness, either .052 - .110 760M or .049 - .109 760FM. Which set of strings have tension most similar to the chromes?

I have 0.49-.109's on my P and the tension is VERY stiff.

I just got La Bella flats 49-109 about 3 days ago after having chromes 50-105 on my P bass.....the La Bellas don't feel much stiffer to me....I would say about the same as the Chromes. I prefer the tone of the La Bellas too...smoother mid-range....I like the Chromes for my Jazz.

Deep Talkin' flats are my favorites, but I prefer the lighter gauge 760FL .043-.104 set, or the 760FS .045-.105 set.
