I just defretted my 5 Sting Fender Jazz... and I'm thinking of moving to medium gauge flat chromes over the regular roundwounds I had. The flats obviously for that smooth, warm fretless sound, and it won't tear my fingerboard apart.
But what do you guys think about changing gauges... are there any issues I should concern myself with?
