| Detuned Tenor 5 string?

I have a Stingray five string that I want to tune DGCFBb (tenor tuned down a step) for my blues band. The SR5 loves flats, but dark sounding rounds might work as well. I am looking for a great low D that balances well with the rest of the strings. Any ideas what strings I should try? |
