did i mess up my bass with gt85 lubricant? (like wd40)

I just bunged some of this gt85 wd40 alternative on my strings, it contains teflon ptfe which coats the metal apparently? i wasnt really thinking but have had a few sweaty gigs lately. so what do you think did i foul up here?
poly finish maple neck with ghs boomers strings

I sprayed some brand new GHS Boomers with WD 40 back in the day and they instantly killed that set of strings. I would not recommend doing that
