did i screw up?

i took the string from a pbass and put them on my other bass which has the 2 and 2 style tuners. the E and A string only have one complete wrapping around them, but it still tunes right.....is the one complete wrapping a problem?

If it tunes right, what's the problem? Is your concern that the strings might slip off the tuner?

yea.....i heard that it should at least be 2-3 wrappings....

2-3 to be on the safe side, but I have played on strings with only a 1/2 wrapping and it didn't budge ... no worries!
