Difference between EB Reg Slinky, Super Slinky, and Hybrid Slinky???

i wanna get Hybrid slinky ernie ball strings because Mark Hoppus has them and i like his tone

im playing a Yamaha RBX170

wats the difference between the super slinky, reg slinky, and hybrid slinky?

wats the best in ur opinion for punk rock/ expermintal rock.

Super Slinky's = 45 -65 - 80 -100

Reg Slinky's = 50 - 70 -85 -105

Hybrids = 45 - 65 - 85 - 105 (lighter top, heavier bottom)

From the factory EB strings their basses with Super Slinky's. I prefer the feel regulars personally, I like the added tension. I wouldn't really suggest Super Slinky's if you play a lot of drop tunings, but but for drop d hybrids are fine.

It really comes down to personal preference. I'd say get the regulars, and if they feel a little heavy then get Supers of Hybrids next time.
