Different string brands on the same bass..??

Actually thinking about trying this out. Ive got a couple of sets of strings that I enjoy but find minor issues with each. I like the low end of one set and the top end of another..Has anyone tried using a set for the E&A and a separate for the D&G ? If so your thoughts and of course the negatives of doing this..Only thing that came to mind is perhaps some intonation issues.

I'd only be concerned about the tension. Could make for a crooked neck if one brand was much higher tension than the other.
