This company continues to frustrate me. I ordered a .125 Dr Lo-Riders B string which cost $13 plus $7 for shipping. I just tried to put it on my bass and its a .105 E string in a B string envelope. This is super frustrating and I'm out $20. I guess I'm going to call tomorrow and deal with their customer service again. Just plain dirty.

So sorry you've had such problems. It's kind of mystifying to me. I've used JustStrings for years. Never had a single problem. Not one...

Yeah, me neither. There's got to be a way to get a new string or your money back. They can't just send you the wrong string and have you eat it for $20. I'm sure you could contact them and they would make it right.

Yep, plus how would they benefit by doing such a thing intentionally? It doesn't seem possible to me that they could benefit, therefore they would not have done it intentionally, therefore they are not dirty. I'm another one that's been using them for years with zero complaints. I'm not saying they never did anything wrong, just that calling them "dirty, dirty" over something that probably wasn't even their fault is bizarre.

Another happy user here. Just got a package from them yesterday in fact. Running a repair shop on the side, I have ordered a lot of strings from them. Whenever I've talked to them on the phone, they've been nothing but courteous and helpful.

There was one time when I got a dead B string in a Fodera set. I found that JustStrings follows the manufacturer's policies. So in that case, I had to contact Fodera to report the faulty string and request a replacement. Every company does it differently though. A few months after that, my friend got a batch of dead D'Add's (guitar strings) and JS sent him replacement sets for free, no questions asked. I would call them up and see what they say.

Whether DR QC messed up and put an E in a B envelope or whether JustStrings' QC messed up, you should get your due whether replacement or refund.

I deal with Sandra Hardy the most. Here's her info.

No problems with them ever here. Good company who seem to always have everything in stock. Sometimes it's just bad luck, man.

Yes I am a bizarre person and I make no sense. I'm frustrated because I paid $20 for a string and it's the wrong string. I also spent the time to reintonate and restring a six string, just to get to the last string and have it the wrong size. The envelope looks like it's been opened and closed a bunch and it has writing on it, so I doubt it came from DR this way. I've had a previous bad experience with their customer service. I ordered a set of strings from them and paid for express shipping. It hadn't arrived after a month, so I called customer service. The lady was very, very rude and couldn't care less that I never received my order. I was informed, with a lot of attitude, they wouldn't do anything about my missing order unless the post office brought my order back to them. I'm sure I am going to have to ship the E string back to them before I get another one.

I'm sure that plenty of people have had good experiences with them, but that doesn't mean everyone has. I never said they intentionally sent me the wrong string to try and make a profit and insinuating that I did is bizarre. I just wanted to vent a little. My bad. I didn't think I was going to have to defend myself for reporting a bad experience.

Call 'em up and see what they say. If your experience is the same as last time, then just stop using them.
