I Have to relay something that just happened to me in another forum.
I frequent another bass-related forum. In spite of what happens occasionally, I will always like, admire, and respect the owner of the forum for various important reasons.
However, a thread in the forum was discussing a certain brand of strings. I appended mentioning another brand I have experience with. I just got mail from the forum owner, saying, sorry, they only allow posts that discuss Brand X, and, BTW, the strings you mention are *terrible*. Post deleted.
Wow. I'm stunned. I didn't think something like that could be possible - with Anyone.
Really bizarre.
