Which do you prefer for a Jazz Bass - DR Nickel Lo-Riders or Sunbeams?

I play a passive Jazz Bass that is currently strung with DR Nickel Lo-Riders. I love the strings, but the tension is a little high when playing near the bridge and I would like a little more mids. What do you guys prefer for a passive Jazz Bass?

SS Lo-Riders (.45-.105) are my favorite, but Sunbeams and Hi-Beams are tied for a close second. I find the latter two both have less mids than Lo-Riders, but if lower tension is a must then I'd recommend Hi-Beams.

I think if your bass is a little on the dark side, Hibeams or Loriders might be a better choice that Sunbeams. But my bass is really bright, so I prefer Sunbeams because of this. They feel better to me too, smoother. But Loriders/Hibeams smooth out after awhile.

Use to play only Lo-Riders but have now switched to Sunbeams. On my Deluxe Jazz I use Hi-Beams to brighten up the sound more, SunBeams on my passive J . I like the feel better and the flexibility of SunBeams and the tone a hair better than Lo-Riders

For 45's just lo-riders on jazz's...if you want to be able to play quickly with the right hand by decreasing the floppiness
