Ive come to the conclusion, I really prefer 5 string. I dont like the high C on a 6 string

I have 2, 6 string basses though. Does anyone make a set of 6 strings with a F# instead of High C ?

you can get a F# string from SIT if you call conklin and they will configure you a 6 string set with the low F# . I got my strings about 4 months ago and I had a 6 string set configured for a low E, A, D, G, C, and F. These are all one octave below standard tuning. So my E is a SIT .195 C# string and I have Conklin .150 F# for my A and ect. ect. for the rest. I really like the tautness of the strings as opposed to having the strings tuned to there correct tuning.

I don't know of any 6 string sets F#-G but you could definietely get a regular 5 string set from a store and order individual F# strings

No. Nobody uses strings on my basses except me.
