Does Dean Markley make a 6 string variety of Blue Steels?

Hi guys,

I love Blue Steels, but recently acquired a 6 string Cirrus and realized they don't come in a 6 string variety!

So, my question is, are SR2000 6 string sets similar to Blue Steels or are they a completely different animal?

Any help here is appreciated, as I need a tight and stiff string like the Steels to tune down as I do (A, D, G, C, F, Bb)

Thanks!

I use Blue Steels on my six-string. I use a five-string set along with individual C strings.

Individual C strings of what type/brand, etc? I've never come across a Blue Steel C string, otherwise this would be my solution.

I just talked to one of the reps from Dean Markley. What store to you purchase your strings from? He said the dealer could order C strings, they come in sets of four. Dean Markley has an 800 # - 800-800-1008. The one that I use is .030. Sorry for taking a few days but many times don't get to talkbass during the week.

I like the blue steels on my 6 as well. I usually use an ernie ball .032 or whatever is available. I don't really notice much of a sound difference with the lighter string.
