DR Black Beauties - length

I love D'adarrio strings, but I"ve found that they're quite short. They start to taper about 1/2" from the nut on my T-40.

I'm thinking about the Black Beauties. Has anyone used them on a string through body?

Yep, I have them on my Washburn RB2500 (string-through)

Try buying the "super long scale" strings from D'adarrio. I've always had the same problem with my esp. But I just got a set of super long scale and there is plenty of length.

Isn't there a tapering and "nontapering" black beauty?

I bought a set of these recently, and to be totally honest they're a very expensive waste of time.

£50 for a 6 string set.

I've used DR strings for years, usually nickel lo-riders, and I love them. They last for ever and sound great.

The black beauties are a waste of money though. The black comes off so what's the point ?
The black started to come of the 1st set within about 30 minutes. I only play fingerstyle, and have a very light touch.
I took them back to the shop and had another set, but the same thing happened to those too.
