DR Black Beauty Problems?

Has anyone had problems with these string?

I ordered some off ebay from a store and the Low B-string was peeling. i went to string it up anyway and the Low B popped. I have never seen a Low B pop.

If it was peeling, why didn't you just call DR and get a free new one?

It might not be too late, email their customer service and tell them what happened.

i've been using them for about a year on both of my gigging basses, never had a problem. i just wish they were a little cheaper...oh well.

I am in the process...I have contacted the seller...waiting on a response...

I was just wondering if this was a common problem because I wouldnt want to order the same string if there were issues with them...

i have never had a problem with my black beauties. the coatin for me lasts for months at a time and i play at least 2 hours every day. never have broke one either.
