DR bronze and flat

Sign in to disble this ad
I like roundcore strings and use sunbeam and highbeam on my basses.

I have seen a set of "rare phospore bronze" DR bass strings on ebay and heard on TB about a set of highbeam flats.I want to try both, the bronze for my guild B30, the flats for my Pbass.

The bronzes have a roundcore, but not sure for the flats.

Are these strings already available ?
Is there different possible gauges ?

a person from the DR staff answer me about flat.
Only in 45-105 and they have a round core.I will try them for sure on my Pbass.

I suppose I made a mistake concerning the rare bronze; they are probably hex core strings (95% sure), not roundcore.Only available with 45-105 gauge.

If someone could clarify on the bronze core it would be extra.

A person from the dr staff answer me the "rare bronze" are ROUNDCORE and only available in 45-105 gauges.

But someone who use these strings tell me they are hexcore so I still have a doubt.

It might be written on the paper pack that enveloppe each string of the set.

Well if a someone is definitively sure, answer me !
